The Plow seems like a good bet. Nice atmosphere, varied menu, pleasant service. But the food is just so-so with prices that that deserve something better. The fish tacos were bland with packaged tortillas, and the potatoes had the consistency of having sat a long time. I ordered a "jolly rancher" style drink, which was over-sweet and had no hint of sour candy flavour. My caesar salad had those cheap tiny croutons you get in bulk at the grocery store. You get a lot of food, but I'd rather have quality over quantity. My friend did like her ribs, although curiously there were no wet wipes for her fingers when we asked. We were alone in the restauarnt at 9:00 pm on a Friday night, which should have told ud something.
One advantage is that it shares a parking lot with the Wingate Wyndham Calgary, so no need to go far if you're tired and need a quick bite while staying at the hotel. Just don't expect anything special.
