My first time at this Franchise chain was Mar 6/13..Ordered a "Burger" Combo with Pepperjack/Tomato/Pickle and a small squirt of bbq sauce.Combo comes with Med NY Fries and a Med drink,,Non refillable..Around $11.00 or so.It was ok i guess.More than likely going to be awhile before i go back.

“Way better than 5 Guys”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

This will be a bit of a mixed review. I usually eat at at the Cross Iron Mills South Street Burger, and the burger, fixings, service and New York Fries are excellent - not as good as home made, but better than most burger joints and WAY better than the greasy 5 Guys attempt. Fresh hormone-free beef and nicely cooked.

The Sarcee Trail version of South Street Burger was not so pleasant. Service was pathetic. The fixings person looked miserable, no-eye contact at all, and was extremely stingy with the toppings. I had to ask twice for some mustard - she put it on, then scraped it off - really? How expensive is mustard, don't be so cheap! I made the mistake of not sticking with the burger, and I ordered the hot dog. Noooooo. The bun was so old it was crunchy, and the hot dog was a tired old tube steak, nothing special at all for nearly $4 (fries and drink were extra). If you want a cheap, good hot dog, go to Costco.

So stick to the original, hamburger, and ONLY at Cross Iron Mills.

“Burgers and fries: What more do you need?”
Reviewed November 17, 2012

South Street Burger has coupled up with NY Fries to create the best backyard burger stop in the city. All cooked fresh on ordering. Select a small or large burger, with more toppings than you could possibly eat, as well as assorted sizes of fries. This is a very economical stop for families too as there are family size combos. Bonus: now offering gluten free buns for those that require them. You can't go wrong here when you're hungry and want a burger.
