We were on our way to another place for lunch, when my brother in law suggested we go to Kickers instead. Great suggestion! A little place tucked into an old hotel building, so it had lots of atmosphere .... Brick walls, massive old chandelier, original art on the walls. Delicious smoked meat....regular cut gave us huge portions of meat. Go for the Kickers mustard blend with Dijon and horse radish. We all had the smoked meat but there were plenty of other options too. And if you're in the mood for a sinfully delicious treat try their poutine with chunks of smoked meat in it. The fries are not fried in oil, although I guess that may be irrelevant once they're smothered in goat cheese curds and chicken gravy. All washed down with a cold beer, a terrific lunch!
