It might be a great place to visit for fun, but they definitely aren't interested in doing educational field trips.

Went here with some friends. Wandered the corn mazes for a while. This is set up for a family with young kids I spend the day here. There are kiddie rides, the kid corn maze and petting zoo. They even have crafting times for the kids.

Just get a season pass and go often! Especially if you live in the extreme SE - it's about a 10 minute drive from our house!

I heard a lot about this place and I thought it was nice. A great place for kids of all ages to play. It's not just a corn maze...there is a petting zoo, playground, tractor rides and more. We went in October and they had a pumpkin patch and pumpkins available for purchase. It was a nice little trip out of the City with my husband and toddler.

They do have food available for purchase but there isn't much choice and nothing healthy to choose from. However, you are allowed to bring your own food - so I suggest packing some healthy snacks and or lunch for your family.

My husband and I have lived in Calgary for 8 years, and this is the first time we've remembered to go to the Calgary Corn Maze. This year we have a 6 month old daughter, so we packed up the stroller and were off! We went on the Thanksgiving Monday, along with a thousand other families, so it took a while to find parking, even on the huge lot. The weather was sunny, but brisk, so we made sure to bundle up the baby, and we wore our light hiking boots, as there is a lot of walking involved, and you are walking in corn fields, and potentially muddy ground.

We were happy to see that along with the huge corn maze, that takes about an hour to get through, there is a smaller, shorter maze, suitable for families with young children that don't want to be trapped in the stalks for very long. There are small slides, but we took our daughter on the big slide (with mom), and took a ride on the Grain Train, a tractor train that takes you on a 6 minute tour through the corn field. We watched Pumpkin Destruction, and a pie eating contest, before grabbing a snack at one of the picnic tables (although you are welcome to bring your own snacks as well).

The petting zoo is very cute, with fainting goats (unfortunately didn't faint while we were watching) that you can feed, donkeys, geese, kittens and more.

After about an hour and a half, we rounded out our trip by going to look for a pumpkin to carve, but being the end of the season, there weren't many left at all, so we didn't buy any this time.

We'll be looking forward to going again next year, when our little one is a bit bigger and can do more of the fun kid stuff, although she did have a great time, as there is so much to see. We had a nice relaxing time walking around as well, although those jumping pillows look like so much fun!...maybe next year.
