“Fantastic food and amazing wine list!”
Reviewed August 24, 2014

I am so glad your back and somehow the food got better!
Went in for dinner and had to wait as it was so busy. But was it worth the wait? Absolutely! They still have favorites from the old restaurant and then so many new delicious items. The baked oysters are phenomenal and oxtail tortellini is still as delicious. Good selection of wines to compliment the food and some killer cocktails.
Anju I am glad you are back. I will absolutely see you again!

“Straight-up good”
Reviewed August 20, 2014

We popped into Anju yesterday for lunch and it was great! The servers were attentive & very friendly, the food was served up fast and well presented but best of all we both thought that restaurant was very well done - understated elegance and chic. One word of advice, when the server mentions that the item is (spicy) hot, trust them because they do mean that it is HOT. Other than that I definitely plan to visit Anju again for lunch and dinner. I would also like to put in a good word for the GM Amy, she was top notch.

“Amazing”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

These have to be some of the most amazing chicken wings I have ever tasted. The crispy tofu was also great, even for those that are not very fond of tofu.

Be advised - this restaurant is moving, so they will be closed from June 28, 2013 until early 2014!

“Interesting and Delightful Meal”
Reviewed June 2, 2013

Four of us went out to Anju's last night and we were delighted with this restaurant. We started off with very interesting drinks that were not too overpowered by sweetness or too much alcohol. In reading the menu, we were undecided about what to order. But my daughter has been to Anju's before and suggested that we do everything tapas style. So we ordered 6 dishes. They arrived at our table as they were prepared so that we had time to savour the food, chat and sip our drinks. Everything was excellent but we loved the Fried Chicken & Pa-ffles, the Crispy Tofu and the Bi-Bim Burger. Chef Roy Oh tries to use locally sourced naturally raised products when ever possible thereby helping our local food sources. We left room for desssert - we shared the Dessert Rolls which had bananas and Nutella (a great combination) and 2 people had the Melon dessert bars. The desserts topped off the meal perfectly.
The wait staff were eager to help by explaining the menu, making sure our water glasses were filled and finding our how we were enjoying ourselves. Chef Roy Oh was going through the restaurant and stopped by to ask us how we were doing and if we had enjoyed ourselves.
Reservations are a must as this restaurant has definitely created a following for itself. We will be back to try the rest of these most excellent dishes and drinks!
