“Good airport hotel”
Reviewed September 9, 2013

This is a bright new hotel located just to the north of the airport which is a few minutes' drive away. The hotel has been well soundproofed and we were barely aware of the aircraft.
We chose it for our last night in Canada on the basis of good reviews and of being good value and standard compared to some of the other airport hotels. We were not disappointed and enjoyed our stay. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms of a very good standard with comfortable beds. We also enjoyed the pool facilities. In the morning a good comprehensive breakfast is included in the price.
We would certainly recommend this hotel.

Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to share your comments with us. Rarely can one hear aircraft inside the hotel which is amazing considering the extremely close proximity to the airport. I am so pleased to also hear that our staff gave you friendly and welcoming service, we always strive to make our guests feel as comfortable as possible. Your recommendations are invaluable to us and we truly thank you again for your fantastic feedback!

We have an infant and the pool is warm - perfect for a baby! The breakfast was amazing and the staff in the breakfast room are caring and make you feel welcome. The bigest downside to the hotel is the lack of anything around...I tried to go buy milk at 7pm at the closest and only store (a truck stop gas station) and it closes at 6pm. I'd like to see more items in the sundry if there is no store nearby. Also, absolutely nothing within walking distance to pass time. It's a little pricey given the fact there is nothing around. My husband left me and my baby there for the day while he worked and there was nothing to do except swim in the pool (which wa amazing though). Unless you're just spending the night, you need a car!

Thank you for taking the time to post your review and comments about your families stay with us. So pleased to hear our staff made you feel at home and how much you and your baby enjoyed the pool. I'm sorry that our staff didn't know that you needed milk - as I am certain they would have provided you with some from our breakfast supplies and saved you the trip to the store. Our location is more convenient if you have a vehicle but when possible we do try to assist guests with our shuttle to locations very close to the hotel.

Stayed here with my family in a two queen suite, beds were awful! I've stayed here before in a king suite and it seems the beds are much better and way more space in the room. Would stay in a King Suite next time due to the fact there is a sofa bed in the room. Still very much enjoy Best Western Premier, have stayed in them all over Canada and the US.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review and comments about your families stay in our standard room with 2 queen beds. I take your comments about the bed quality very seriously but can say that the mattresses are of similar quality in all our guest rooms no matter if they are queen or king sized. I appreciate you letting me know that overall you enjoyed your visit and would return.

We stay here 2 different times and it was a great experience each time. The rooms are well appointed, the food is good, and the staff very helpful. It was very convenient to the airport and also the LRT, which can take you just about anywhere in the city and beyond. Just ask the front desk staff, as they are very helpful.

New hotel, but not yet up to the usual Best Western service standard. Long line-ups at check out, greasy and stale breakfast, and dimly-lit room. However, the in-house restaurant is good with great service, and the fitness centre is excellent.

I stayed at the Best Western Premier Freeport Inn & Suites with my daughter as a stop on a road trip to Saskatoon. The location was perfect for access to the highway we needed to take in the morning. It was however, a little out of the way for restaurants and gas stations. (we had to back track a bit in the morning to fill up our car and get our morning Starbucks)

The hotel appeared new and the staff at the front desk were friendly and efficient. Our room was spacious and had a mini kitchenette ( fridge, microwave, sink) which was great as we had food that needed to be refrigerated over night. The hotel was quiet ( we went to bed early) and the beds were comfortable.

My daughter and I decided to dine at the restaurant in the evening. The food was tasty and served quickly. Breakfast in the morning had a large selection of hot and cold items which was awesome before heading back out on the road.

I would definitely stay again if I am in the area.

Thank you for including us in your road trip from BC to Saskatchewan. Our hotel is situated perfectly for access to the North ring road and avoiding city centre traffic troubles. I appreciate you taking the time to share your comments and post a review.

Nice & clean friendly staff & close to the airport. Loads of people were using the indoor pool sounds like they were having a great time. The pool was on the ground floor so did not interfere with other guests. Would stay there agian.
