Description: Redwater Rustic Grille’s market driven menu is a fresh interpretation of contemporary West Coast Cuisine with signature dishes and innovative creations. A favorite destination for wine-lovers and foodies alike, Redwater’s wine menu features specialties from smaller boutique wineries, many of which are not found elsewhere in the city. The large selection of wine complements the executive chef's menu of seasonal robust dishes. Canadian Coral, soft lighting, the contemporary lounge and the large glass wine cellar enclosing the private dining room; creates an ambiance of casual refinement. Servers are warmly professional and their enthusiasm for great food and wine is infectious. Redwater is a proud recipient of the 2007, 2008 & 2009 Wine Spectator Awards. Dress: Smart Casual. Please note hats are not permitted in the restaurant and we do not have highchairs/booster seats or childrens menus.

“Best Patio”
Reviewed September 2, 2013

This is the best patio in S.W. Calgary because it's not on a street or a parking lot. The patio faces west toward a pond so there isn't the traffic noise and fumes. I've always had salads and flatbread pizzas at Redwater and always been satisfied with them. Last time I wanted the salad that comes with a fillet of tuna but asked to change the tuna to salmon - no problem! It was a delicious salad. It's always a good place to go on a hot summer day.

“Hits and Misses”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

My husband and I reserved a table here to celebrate our anniversary August 02, 2013. The decor is beautiful, the restaurant very clean, and the staff were all appropriately dressed---no miniskirts or playboy cleavage, which we appreciated. Our server was very efficient, friendly and helpful. I enjoyed a glass of Malbec from Argentina which was very tasty, full bodied without any acid after taste, the tannins were beautifully fruity. My husband had an Australian Shiraz which he enjoyed, but which left a acid taste in my mouth and had an abrasive alcohol flavour. We started our meal with the Mediterranean Squid which had a lovely flavour of sun dried tomatoes but too much olive oil. My husband ordered the catch of the day, Halibut, which was perfectly
cooked. He ordered 2 sides, one smashed potatoes and one carrots. The potatoes were ok and if you like your veggjes very well cooked, then you would enjoy these carrots. I ordered the crimini
mushroom flatbread and the romaine hearts salad. The salad was crisp but definitely lacked flavour in the dressing, rather bland. However the flatbread was divine! Crimini mushrooms,
arugala, grano padano cheese, garlic cream, truffle oil and honey, sooo good. We shared a
chocolate caramel tart which also was extremely delicious. Our table placement was poor as we were beside a brick wall hence no view, and looking around there were many better tables available when we arrived and were still available when we left. If we go again I will make sure to reserve a better table.

“Wonderful patio”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

Redwater Grill has updated its menu and has a great calamari appetizer that is worth the try. The steaks are properly prepared and the food and serve make a visit there a really good time. If you can be there when it is not raining the outdoor patio overlooking the water is a great location.

“Nice setting and good value.”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

We have dined here several times and it has always been a good experience.

We found the staff friendly and knowledgeable about the wines and the food choices. The menu is not too broad, but has a good selection overall and the food is well prepared and the portion size is right.

The restaurant décor is tony and tasteful and it is nice to have a view onto the pond as well. The patio works well on warm days.

“Birthday Lunch”
Reviewed June 16, 2013

Three of us had brunch on a lovely day at the Redwater Rustic Grille in Aspen estates.
We started with mimosa cocktails, followed by an Amuse Bouche of granola over yogurt with fresh fruit and banana bread.
We each chose something different off the the brunch menu.
Eggs Benedict came with fried potatoes
Then the scrambled eggs came with fried potatoes and thick cut bacon
The eggs were soft cooked with the third offering of eggs, bacon and fried potatoes.
We all had coffee and the refills were brought promptly
Everything was very nice and the napkins were real which makes a really nice touch
