The museum is small and inside the Calgary Stampede grounds. The volunteer interpreters are knowledgeable and do a good job explaining the importance of grain farming in Alberta’s economy. The most interesting part is the model train layout that represents the journey of grain from the local elevator, through Calgary, the Spiral Tunnels, the Rockies and ending at the port of Vancouver. It’s worth a visit if you are at all agriculturally inclined and are near Stampede Park.
