“See all of Calgary.”
Reviewed May 14, 2013

I do not know of many cities that has such a well connected path system where you can travel almost all of Calgary without dealing with automobiles. Sure, there can be improvements. But live in an other city and see how good this Calgary system is.

“Phenomenal Pathways”
Reviewed May 10, 2013

The pathways here in Calgary are phenomenal! I believe we have the best pathways in Canada, from what I heard, which wouldn't be hard to believe because it is true. The city did a terrific job with our pathways that you could probably bike, walk, jog, skate, etc. all of Calgary. The pathways are paved nicely (some still need to be touched up), easy access, and the scenery is great.

“One of the good things about Calgary”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

The pathways are extensive and great for walking, cycling, jogging. Many of them follow the Bow river and he scenery is nice. You might see deer, beavers, all kinds of ducks and even white pelicans at certain times of the year.

“Many many km. to travel”
Reviewed March 26, 2013

Hop on your bike right from the airport and join up with bike paths that are both functional and recreational. Check the City of Calgary website for a map. Walkers, joggers, skate boarders all use the path. There are some speed limits; you have to have a helmet on your head and a bell on your bike.

“One of the best things about Calgary”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

you can bike or run forever! this path system is so extensive, all along the Bow R (and soon to be joined to the new Prov Park by Cochrane), as well as all up the Elbow River, and by the airport. You could use it for a long time without getting bored. And the best part is, a significant part of it is plowed during winter to allow for outdoor exercise even when the roads or sidewalks are in bad shape.
