My choir gave a concert performance here, and the acoustics were phenomenal! They have great programs and bring in world-class artists.

Coming from the UK I thought my knowledge of Canadian music artists got to Bieber, Drake, Celine and Bryan Adams, but this made me realize I knew a few more! It's housed in a really striking building just a short walk from downtown - not really on a C Train stop, but there is a car park right next to it. You head up through music history with different rooms housing interesting exhibits about theater organs, guitars, synthesizers, and the human voice: you get to try to play some stuff yourself and listen to stuff as you go along. At the top is the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, currently with an exhibit about Corey Hart (though I have to say I'm sorry, I sill have no idea who he is...). Overall, well worth a visit. Spent about 90mins there, but you could easily spend much longer if you listened in to every exhibit.

I love playing music, and while some exhibits were a bit boring, there was some amazing displays that were very interactive. Go if you have a passion and love for music.

This is a wonderful place to visit for a few hours. My teenagers loved all the interactive music stations and they had lots to see, read and learn about Canadian Music. Great building and very well kept/clean. We had a snack at the little cafe on the main floor before starting our self-guided tour. Worth checking out if you are in the area.

Both classically trained musicians, we were looking forward to Studio Bell. On arrival, it appeared to each of us that Bell is all about country music, not our favorite. But we'd bought tickets, so decided to start on the 5th floor and work our way down. Very soon we realized this place is not just about country music, but about all music. Wonderful exhibits, from ancient instruments to modern guitars, and even a full theatre organ, and research...the kind of place any major city should want to have! And should have, for the education of all.
