It’s a beautiful tower for sure, especially on the outside and at night when it lights up. The glass floor is nice, but it’s too small. The admission to go up is not too expensive. The tower is not tall (its surrounding buildings are a lot taller) but you can still see a nice 360 view of the city. It’s definitely not your ideal tower, so you might be bored when you get there lol.
The restaurant is nice because it rotates 360 degree, but food is pricey for sure. I’ve only eaten there twice - one for grad, one for anniversary. So it’s best to go on special ocassion for sure. If you’re going to have visitors in Calgary from a big city like Toronto or New York, don’t bring them to Calgary Tower cause it’s not all that lol.
It's closed due to maintenance when I visited downtown Calgary in early August. Though there is no chance to take the elevator up to the top of the tower to see the city view, it is still a great attraction and see it from different parts of the city!
For anyone visiting Calgary a visit to the Tower is a must.The views are quite breathtaking and on a clear day the Rockies are spectacular.
Wow what a great experience. We went in the evening and had a meal in the revolving restaurant. Staff were brilliant, the food was excellent. Totally recommend it
If your near you have to go up there are two lifts and it takes no time to get in , the view from the top amazing with glass floor to walk on if your brave enough ,
