Visited on a Monday, so park was pleasant and not overcrowded. Can get off to a great start by using the tram to reach the entrance from the car park. Lots of informative exhibits, with all staff offering useful advice/stories. They all seem to enjoy working there! Particularly liked the steam 'switcher' locomotive with its impressive chime whistle, but shame it's restricted to a circular route. Good to see a paddle steamer at work on the lake.
Many places to eat, but some closed when we visited and menus seemed limited. Best cafe is located at the tram station before the entrance.
Car museum is great, with the collection of old petrol pumps being especially impressive.
