“Customer Appreciation”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

This is not a review of the many attractions at the park but of the management and staff and their customer satisfaction policy. My son and I had booked the zip line and bobsleigh run for Monday June 24th but our trip to Calgary and Medicine Hat was cancelled due to the sudden flooding of those cities. I called the Park to seek a refund on the prepaid booking and they issued one promptly and in full under the circumstances. This is just me passing along my appreciation for their understanding. We do hope to be able to make the trip at a later date and will definitely rebook at that time.

“Winter WonderSports”
Reviewed May 14, 2013

My company had their Christmas party at this location (we have had many over the years in different buildings on this campus) during the hockey strike. It was amazing service and great food. The rooms were not high class, but you did have access to watch the Flames practice. The campus really supports winter sports and we were told that the profits of the event goes towards the support of the events for athletes. I hope we have more functions at this location.

“Great for freestyle!”
Reviewed May 11, 2013

Had a season pass for the 12/13 season, it did not disappoint! The jumps were almost always shaped well, there is public transport that stops right outside and the terrain park is always being changed to keep it interesting. Sometimes it can be busy but never as crowded as some of the resorts can get. I had friends that did the bobsled run and they all raved about it. One of my friends was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time and got to ride the bobsled (usually $160) for free!

If you like freestyle skiing/snowboarding, it is definitely worth a visit. Admittedly, for regular skiing/riding it would be very boring unless you're an absolute beginner.

“only came to watch, but learned a lot”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

We did not go to the park to actually ski/skate; we just came to look around. while there, we walked over to the bobsleigh track, and a very helpful, friendly staff member (most likely a paramedic) filled us in and let us know everything about the track (as sledders were zooming by us at fast speeds), the conditions, how it works, and more. He was great, he made the trip worthwhile. other than that, and watching the snowboarders practicing their jumps on a practice run, there wasn't a ton to do, but it was interesting. ifyou want to ski, it looked like a lot of fun too!

“The new Paskapoo”
Reviewed February 19, 2013

Really good intermediate ski hill in town, full half pipe, and you can actually go on the bob sled run for about $75 at certain times when they are training there. Good pro shop, and all the feel of a mountain chalet with city views. Big time zip lines in the summer here.
