A beautiful place for a long walk or bike ride, especially at times of the year when hiking in the mountains is not possible, or you don't have the time. It can be made part of a grand circuit around Calgary on a bike.

Was very nice to go and have a place to have a picnic with family. Grass was grean and fresh. Some shaded spots, lots of open area.
WONDERFUL

Love going down to take pictures, gets me back to nature and the things that make me take a step back and just enjoy the moment in nature. Love the paths, excellent for bikes and walking

This park is awesome you will forget the you are totally surrounded a bustling city I have seen lots of wildlife including Gardner snakes, whitetail deer, Bald Eagles, Beavers. and lots more wildlife. There is pathways that walkers and cyclist both use and paths that branch off. There is lots of water so bring some bug spray.

This is a provincial park in the city with no park fee. This is a great place to spend a day or a couple of hours. It is kept as natural as possible with decent paved paths for walkers, cyclists, snowshoers. Walk your dog but nowhere off leash. The one thing that does bother me is that people will often have their dogs off leash but that is strictly prohibited in this park. There are so many other places where having your dogs off leash is allowed but some people are just plain selfish. This issue is this is a wildlife area and should be respected.

It is common to see deer here and some interesting birds. The Bow River and Fish Creek meander through this gorgeous park. Another gorgeous feature are the sandstone cliffs.

Grab your jackets and get out there. Bring the family and go for a nature walk in the city. Have a picnic and bring your camera. You never really know what you'll see there but there will be great opportunities for some beautiful pictures.
