Views of rolling terrain and foothills. Wll-maintained paths in the open and in the treed area.
I would prefer the off-leash areas to be enclosed. Dogs can frighten young children.

So much space to explore. Great paths. My kids love to run the gullies and hills. Been going here for years.

Its totally off the beaten track, well rather, all it is is a beaten track. There are some great views of the city. Bring your dog, bring a dog, but beware of the porcupines. Keep an eye on that dog, better for bigger dogs I would guess. Tonnes of trail. Please dont pave!!

There are two entrances and we chose the main one, but it's an enormous park with trails going off in all directions! They're a relatively easy hike but it's easy to go quite far while forgetting you have to get back too. I didn't see a loop trail and i didn't see a map of the trails and area posted which would have been helpful. Lots of wildlife, many hikers and families, and a wonderful view! Try it after dinner one night! The sunsets are gorgeous!
