Description: This stylish bistro is situated in the original French Quarter of Calgary of what is now called the Mission District. Diners will be delighted by the turn of the century Wright building with period details such as the original pressed tin ceilings and exposed brick walls. Chef~Patron Jason Armstrong's French comfort cuisine reinvents bistro classics with a focus on local suppliers. The ever evolving menu is coupled with an all French wine list with a focus on smaller appellations to provide great wine at a reasonable menu price. Service is friendly, yet professional and always consistent.

“Lovely ambience”
Reviewed August 1, 2013 via mobile

We ate at Bistro 2210 with a friend, on her recommendation, and had a lovely meal. Menu is not huge but fairly typical of a French bistro, with a few Italian twists. I had the beet salad that included fresh and raw beet with sweet-spicy pecans and, for a main, the tomato linguine. Both were fresh and simply prepared. My husband loved his steak frites, proclaiming it better than a version we recently had in New York. My friend gave me a bite of her macaroni and cheese, which was delicious - nice smoky flavour from the bacon. The restaurant was quiet and tasteful. Would definitely go back!

“Great Spot”
Reviewed April 21, 2013

Bistro style dining done well. Quality was high and service was excellent. Crab croquettes were particularly tasty, lamb burger was excellent, chicken a bit overdone, dessert was exceptional. Service was very good, knowledgeable, friendly and energetic.

“Delicious lunch at Bistro 2210”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

We enjoyed a celebratory birthday lunch at this tasty Bistro on a cold wintery day! The menu was very appealing....always nice to struggle with a yummy sounding menu! I enjoyed a fabulous parsnip soup with apple to start....really lovely creamy consistency finished with a tart apply topping - nice combination. My friend enjoyed her generous house salad with a buttermilk dressing. For her entree she ordered the mac and cheese and was in heaven. My choice was the Croque Montreal....open faced smoked meat with a Mornay sauce and sauerkraut with a side salad. We shared a heavenly piece of their Beet Chocolate cake with a dreamy peanut butter frosting and a carmelized banana on top. So good! All in all a very good first impression!

“Quiet little bistro on 4th Street serving up tasty french fare”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

Popped by 4th street with a friend and looked for a nice place for lunch. This place was vacant, we ended up being the only 2 dining at 1pm on a weekday, but the food should be luring many more to this bistro.
Shared lunch consisted of a large nicoise salad and a chicken club sandwich, and a side of their addicitve frites with garlic aioli.
The sandwich was served on a crispy baguette and had plump seasoned chicken breast, nice slices of tomato and bacon with lettuce and a red pepper aioli sauce, and had a side of seasonal greens with a tasty vinaigrette. The nicoise was an ample portion, very filling! $50.00 for 2 for lunch including 2 beers. Love to go back for dinner- service was excellent and friendly.

“Great”
Reviewed December 11, 2012 via mobile

I have always had fantastic meals and service when at Bistro 2210. From brunch to dinner, they do it all well. There is no reason to go to a chain like Earls or Moxies when you can go somewhere like Bistro 2210 and get an amazing meal for not much more.
