This is a small neighborhood restaurant with a stylised Indian menu. The staff seemed somewhat overwhelmed when it was busy tonight, so service was a bit spotty. The first appetizer I ordered was no longer available, but it hasn't been taken off the menu, nor did anyone tell us when we received our menus. We ordered the tiger prawns with coconut curry and naan - very good. The fish pakora (salmon) was also very tasty, but there were only 4 tiny pieces - almost bite size, for $12. The phyllo "beggar's purse" with squash and corn on a bed of sliced vegetables was okay, but a bit dry and not satisfying. The braised lamb shank and lamb chop was very good, but it should be for $36. I'm torn about this restaurant. I think that the interesting variations made to Indian cuisine are not really worth the price.
