New Menu...I was up in Jasper over at the Fairmont up there and I must say. The Mountain Restaurant in Lake Louise was better then the burgers sold in The Emerald Lounge at the Jasper Park Lodge Fairmont restaurant.
The burger was juicy, exquisite, topped with onion rings...So Good! Then had fresh home made
donuts with whip cream. Next time in Lake Louise...stopping in there again!

My wife and I stopped here for some lunch on our way To Vancouver. The decor and atmosphere immediately put up red flags for me, but for some reason, i guess hunger, won out, and we were guided to a table by the window. We ordered chicken fettuccini and we were shocked to see it arrive no more than 5 minutes after. We knew right then and there they probably just theew aome canned and packaged products in the microwave and voila here is your 16 dollar meal. Needless to say, the chicken fettucini was like eating something your five year old made you for your birthday, the big difference is its cute and heartwarming when your kid does it, but it's embarrasing and disgusting when a restaraunt in the middle of a tourist village does it! The sauce was bland and running, looked like campbells soup straight from the can, the chicken was made up of some thrown away pieces from the butchers shop floor, and the mushrooms were barely sliced and half and not cooked at all and the onions were the size of croutons and tasted like mcdonalds big mac onions! Yuck! i should have said something and stood up for ourselves and our stomachs, but being the overly polite canadian I am, i said nothing! This place is an embarassment, to serve food like that and at those prices is absolutely deplorable! This place needs to get slapped in the face and start making better food, edible food, or they just need to be shut down. I would rather eat at Burger King or A & W then this outhouse of. Restaurant!

The food was terrible! We ordered two different meals and both were tasteless. We also hear some complaints from the table next to us. Stay away!!!!

My family and I visited this restaurant our first night in Lake Louise. This was the first restaurant we drove by and even though we saw mixed reviews online we decided to try the place for ourselves. Big mistake. The service was subpar and the food was horrendous and overpriced. Waitress was friendly but sat us at a sticky table with crumbs and didn't even seem to notice. We ordered chicken wings to start. Described as "5 very large buffalo style wings" they were no larger than your regular wings and at $12.25 for 5 wings it was truly appaling. The mountain burger we ordered tasted like your run of the mill burger with a frozen patty. It was bland and served cold in the center. The 10 oz ribeye steak was likely not ribeye at all. Ordered it medium rare and received it raw in the center. The server took it back to be corrected and came back with the steak more charred on the outside and still raw in the center. Stuffed chicken breast was bland and tasted like boxed stuffing inside a chicken breast. Seafood fettucini had raw to par cooked mussels and shrimp and a tomato sauce that tasted only of white wine, making it rather inedible. We notified the server but nothing was done and no discount offered either. For additional cheese on a kid's hamburger they charged nearly $2 extra. Simply avoid this place if you want to save your stomach and your wallet. This has to be one of the worst restaurants we've dined at.

We have visited this restaurant many times in all seasons and we have never been disappointed. The food is great, nice portions and family friendly.
A couple of times we have had a longer wait to be seated or for our food to be served but it has been worth the wait every time.
