We spent 4 nights last week of June. The area is beautiful! The cabins are well designed and blend in beautifully with the area. We stayed in a king cabin. I really liked the interior design inside the cabin. It was small but again well designed with a few very minor flaws already mentioned in previous reviews. One thing I would like to see added is a small ice bucket, they only have a wine holder. I booked very far in advance and was a tad disappointed with our cabin's view. We had a nice view from the patio but the view from the large picture window was mainly of the roofs of the cabins in front of us so when sitting on the couch not much of a view of the water. We really enjoyed the fireplace which they set up for you daily. The restaurant was good. I read previous negative reviews about breakfast but we thought it was great! The pastries were fabulous. Service in the restaurant was very good only on our last day was breakfast service not up to par. The normal breakfast supervisor(?) wasn't there and I'm guessing that is the reason. The lights weren't turned on even though food was out, no fire and doors on the front were locked. Clearly someone didn't want to be working that day (Sunday). Even so, it wasn't a big deal, we still got coffee and food was still good! Dinner there was very good and we had a great server (Jess). The dessert a lemon tart/pie thing was fabulous if you are a lemon lover order this dessert. I asked for the recipe but no luck...We enjoyed the walk along the lake, and hiked the rockpile adjacent to the lake every AM for photos. Housekeeping was a little interesting, the cabin was kept very clean but they would miss with various things like not refilling creamer or some various little things. I only mention it because it's best if you don't expect 5 star service. The staff is friendly and the setting is 5 star which makes up for any minor short comings. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
