Stopped for one night during a road trip around the Rockies and wasn't disappointed. Moraine Lake is beautiful and our well appointed lodge had a stunning view. It was an anniversary trip and the hotel left chilled sparkling wine and chocolates in our room which was a lovely gesture. Food was great, lovely walks in the area, and saw some amazing wildlife (including a porcupine!). Added bonus was complimentary canoe use for guests ($70 per hour in the lodge we stayed in the previous night at a nearby lake). Thanks for a lovely stay

We stayed here in June of 2019. Our first night the heater did not work in the room. The next day we asked the front desk and they let us know they would send someone out to fix it. They told us there was some sort of clog and they needed to bring in a plumber. We left for the day (locked our cabin) and when we came back around 5:00 pm we noticed our door was left wide open with no one around. We could not figure out why our door was left open with all of our stuff inside. The heat was fixed by the end of the day which was good. We also noticed that our cabin was very slanted and it was a bit disorienting. During our stay we noticed the housekeeping was very slow, often not being completed until 5:00 pm. Free breakfast was not good, by the third day we opted to go to town and pay for breakfast instead. The staff also seemed to consist of mainly young people who had other priorities. We were often ignored by the staff and most of our interactions were not great. We paid $630 a night to stay here which is painful to say after our experience. For the money, I would recommend staying at the Fairmont.

We stayed here for one night as part of our honeymoon travelling across the rockies. Moraine lake itself is absolutely beautiful, the hotel is situated perfectly to enjoy the view from all rooms. Our entire stay at this hotel was perfect, our room was beautiful and the view simply stunning. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel, the best meal we had throughout our trip! The staff at the hotel are all so helpful and are very informative of the local hikes etc that you can do around the lake. One of the more expensive hotels but worth every single penny. We only wish we had stayed longer!
