We have had three adventures with Great Divide. Everyone has been awesome. They tailor the snowshoeing experience to your abilities and expectations. I have enjoyed every trip and look forward to more.

“Great snowshoeing, recommend for anyone”
Reviewed February 25, 2014

Had a great time snowshoeing with Joel. Apart from the incredible knowledge he has about the place, he was very accommodating, respectful, patient, and genuinely nice (very Canadian!). My wife was new to the cold and wasn't so comfortable after a while. He immediately provided her a hand warmer and throughout the trip made sure that she stayed comfortable by checking on her often. The entire trip was organized very well. The cookies and hot chocolate/herbal tea during the trip was a nice touch.

“Like Family”
Reviewed February 17, 2014

Our 1st snowshoeing experience with Great Divide made it memorable, fun, with lots of info with supporting documentations like pictures, and even with small skit..this is not just for adults, but for kids as well as Joel (tour guide) is really GOOD with it. My 6 year old boy really enjoyed the experience, and Great Divide's approach with its Clients is "like Family". Need to experience, to believe it.

What a fabulous way to spend a day! You get to be outside in and amongst the beauty of Lake Louise, breathing the fresh air and admiring nature. AND you are accompanied by a knowledgeable guide who will point out the wonder of the outdoors and the amazing details of the plants and animals that inhabit this unique place.

“A great opportunity to become an explorer for half a day!”
Reviewed February 5, 2014

Our half day trip with Joel was a great experience. We were a small group of 4 people including our guide. The best thing is, that you don't have to stay on any paths. You can just walk right through the forest, wherever you want to go. Everybody could lead for a short time. Joel is an excellent guide with a lot of knowledge and interesting stories. We didn't only walk through the forest, we also learnt a lot of interesting facts about snow.
Thank you very much for this tour, Joel!

Thank you so much to everyone for the lovely reviews this winter. :)

We should note that it is not always possible to walk anywhere. A lot depends on the snow conditions and on the size of the people involved. There are some times when we can take off to wander at will, and others when we have to stick to an established "path." The good news: the paths we make are not used by others and if we have fresh snow, you often can't even see that they are there. We always try to make the best possible experience!
