We didn't have reservations for this restaurant, and were seated immediately. We were not guests at the Fairmont Lake Chateau. The views of the lake are gorgeous. You can either dine inside or outside on the patio. We chose to dine indoors since it was drizzling outside. We started with the baked potato skins appetizer. These were crunchy and contained goat cheese which made for a delicious taste. My husband had Halibut fish and chips while I had the Alberta beef dip. We split our entrees so each of us could sample the entrees. Both were delicious.Service was attentive. After dinner, we walked along the lakeshore since it had stopped raining. We parked in the hotel parking garage and had our ticket validated by the front desk. There was no parking fee.
