“Nice but there are better things to see in the area.”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

It was a mediocre attraction compared to attraction around the area. Its free and its very close to banff, less then a 5 minute drive. More beautiful in summer in my opinion!

“Worth seeing”

A beautiful stop....well worth taking the time to see. Although we didn't take the raft trip, it looks like fun. Great spot for a summer picnic.

“Beautiful”
Reviewed February 9, 2013

This is a magical place and great place to walk to from Banff. Paddled in the water above the falls (quite a long way from the falls i'm not silly) water freezing! Take time to sit and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views.

“Beautiful and frozen”
Reviewed February 9, 2013

great to photo graph with the road closed and the falls partly frozen.. well worth the drive.. lots to explore.. make sure you have lots of film, warm clothes in winter and a thermos of coffee.

be careful in the snow/ice... as the stairs were very very slippery.

“Wonderful find”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

We were just following advice from one of our waitresses; she suggested that we could walk to the falls; within 500m we were frozen, walked back to the car, and decide to drive instead; great choice since it was a downhill and we definitely did not have the proper equipment to walk down. Lots of ample parking, and great views of the falls, the river, and some mountain ranges. My husband got some great photos.
