Went on Monday(building closed) and walked through the sulfur springs. Smelled like rotten eggs! A few small pools on walkways with some sulfur dioxide bubbles bubbling up. A grating covering a hole(cavern) in the ground. Nice views of the mountains. Unless the buildings give access to something spectacular below not seen from above...... not worth the stop. Maybe the narration/tour would make it more interesting???

Couldn't really rate this fully, as unable to access the inside exhibits. The boardwalk was interesting though.

An interesting and educational guided tour of the area that started the Canadian National Park system. Our guide was very informative and entertaining. Slow paced and very close to downtown Banff.

you'll only need an hour max to tour this site. not much is in it, just interesting historic facts. needs a major makeover to make it tourist attraction worthy.

Nothing elaborate but helped give some perspectives on how Banff became "famous". The admission was less then $5 and had we shown our year National parks pass, I think it would have been free.
