My husband and I stayed for one night in their studio apartment located in the main building and we sorely didn’t want to leave.
PROS: We loved the decor and atmosphere. The heater was very nice!
We felt that everything was clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the sheets were so soft!
We didn’t cook the night stayed but we noticed the kitchen is fully equipped with a stove and there is option to do outdoor bbq or build a campfire. They had a pretty good selection of wines in their little check in shop.
CONS: We did hear the train rumble pass every so often but it did not wake us up from sleep. The WiFi was terrible so we used our data and didn’t have problems after that. It’s a far enough from anything that you’d want to drive to get around. We had to travel ~8min by car to the nearest restaurant which we felt was overpriced with decent food. So the next time we stay, we definitely will bring groceries to cook for ourselves.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. It’s perfect for the budget conscious traveller who sleeps easily, wants to disconnect from technology and has a car.
