The Juniper has made use of local materials, stone and wood, in a brilliantly designed renovation of an old '50s-style hotel. The furniture is high-quality, the sort of thing you might find at Design Within Reach. The views of Mt. Rundle are terrific. The cafe is excellent, both indoor and outdoor. This is one of the best places we have stayed in the past 25 years.

Room Tip: Get a room with a view of Mt. Rundle if you can!

This was certainly not the best hotel we stayed at during our trip from Vancouver to the Rockies and back. I was a liitle dissapointed at what we got for the money against other similsr establishments.

This was absolutely the best hotel in Banff unless you can afford the Banff Springs Hotel. But even if I could afford a $400 room, I would still stay at the Juniper. The King rooms have the most spectacular view overlooking entire town of Banff. The restaurant and lounge are delightful with friendly service to boot! The price is perfect and in my opinion, a bargain for the location and accomodations.

Hotel was really nice. Located really close to town, without being in town. Rooms were quite modern, although there wasn't much room for luggage unless you can put it on the second bed. Free wifi is always a plus, and there is an outdoor hot tub.

Bathroom was a good size, and loved the products supplied. There was even makeup removal wipes which is something you don't often see.

Only stayed one night, but would happily stay here longer.

What a great place to stay, away from all the noise of the town, great food morning and night. A great nights sleep. Many thanks.
