“Majestic views and definitely challenging holes”
Reviewed August 23, 2013

Great course, bit of hike to the pro shop from the hotel. Allow 30 min at least or take the shuttle.
Marshall's are good at keeping pace of play. On our first round they told us to play through the group in front of us at the 4th hole. They don't waste time filling in gaps which is fair when your spending $200 per round.

“Nature Beautiful”
Reviewed August 22, 2013

I live on a golf course and don't golf. I.,ve visited St. Andrews
This is much more beautiful. Like I said I don't golf but when I see this beauty I wish I did. I,m still thinking I may just pay it and go even just once!

“The golf was fantastic, the service was not!”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

We treated ourselves to this beautiful mountain course for our anniversary. The $400 green fee did not bother us but the service we received left us disappointed. When we arrived we dropped our clubs at the bag drop, after paying, we waited 15 min before asking someone if we should load our clubs onto a cart ourselves. There were plenty of "pink" shirts walking around but no one stopped to see if we needed assistance. We finally got the attention of an employee and she took the clubs from us after looking around to see if someone else could do it.
We play at courses that charge less than half of what the Banff Spings charges and the service is far better. Our cart ran out of battery power on hole 15 and we had to be pushed up the hill up to the tee box by our golfing partners. We wanted to eat dinner after golf at the course restaurant and it closed at 8:00, seems unreasonable considering golfers are still finishing their rounds at that time. We walked in the restaurant at 8:03 and they quickly told us they were closed. We took our money elsewhere, not by choice.
We would golf this course again, the scenery is outstanding and the course is a lot of fun to play. The lack of service falls on management, they should take a close look at how their leadership, or lack there of, is flowing through to the customers who arrive expecting great service to go along with the wonderful course.

“Flying visit worthwhile”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

The Banff Springs Golf Course is well worth the visit. Having not booked in advance and limited on time, we only managed to squeeze in nine holes. It was still worth it. Would love to go back and play the 18 hole course. The staff both in the pro shop and also in the clubhouse were friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit if you have the time - just ring ahead to book a tee time to avoid disappointment. The course is very popular.

“Beautiful Course”

This course it one of the prettiest courses. Every hold had a beautiful view. It was a real fun course. We rented clubs here and that worked out really well. The course was very playable which made it so enjoyable.
