Walk, run, canoe or kayak (maybe even swim) through these beautiful lakes. I often ran through the Fenland (woodland) loop to be spit out at the lakes and grab a quick nap on one of the docks, awakening to the majestic beauty of my personal favourite, Mt Rundle. Although, right now and I think commonly around July/August, the area is out-of-bounds due to the abundance of territorial and frisky Grizzlies that have ventured from the mountain slopes and alarmingly proximal to Banff town. So get there around June to spot a sleepy grizzly, not July to get chased down (by either an angry male, or an angry Parks Canada man with a fine in hand).
