The cabin was very dusty when we arrived and had a terribly strong woodsmoke odor. The youong woman at the front desk said that it had rained the day before and that is the result. They were nice enough to give us some candles but we were there for 6 nights and the smell never dissapated. The breakfast food was good but the lobby door was locked until 7:30a.m. on the dot which is late for those that wish to hike early in the day. I suggest that they open the lobby with coffee and juice at 7 or earlier. Several guests would stand outside and wait for the door to be unlocked, dying for coffee. Also the breakfast was much better, with juice and a hot dish when a group of cyclers were at the resort. When they left, the amount of food was less and there was no juice offered. Sometimes it felt as though the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful.
