A great hotel, within walking distance of Banff center A good size room, with fridge and coffee/tea making facilities. A comfy bed and everything you need. Friendly & helpful staff. There is a hot tub and you can use the hotel next door's ,swimming pool.

The reception team were always very helpful and alert, welcoming each time we'd pass the lobby. The self-parking under the building is low so an SUV or higher has to park around the rear which is a little annoying in winter. The rooms were clean and had a recently renovated bathroom. You get what you pay for here as the walls are thin and doors let a lot of noise through. The location is great overall as it takes five minutes walk to the center of town and a bus for ski fields pulls up next door. Good value to stay here if you're not worried too much about the hotel providing your Banff experience.

Room tip: Opposite side to the main street would be the quieter rooms.

Stayed in this hotel 14 days with friends and we had no issues throughout the stay. close to town centre and staff were very helpful. we had everything that we needed. Luxury came from the people I was with and the gorgeous nature and the hotel was the added bonus.

I was staying at room 108 on March11,2019. I gave one star simply because there is no option for zero.I do not recommend this hotel in the winter time and here is why :
Heating system in this hotel using hot water circulating thru the room heating unit and when the thermostat is kicking in the blower turns on and it is very loud, it is like jet plane on the runway ready for take off !! or another example would be a heater in your garage.Come on people all you have to do is lower RPM on the blower motor so it will still blowing hot air except it would be quiet and your guests will be able to sleep with no interruption. So this is first reason.
In room 108 there is( on the top what above) another problem. There is tapping noise inside the wall maybe 2 inch away from where your head is in the bed every 20 sec for about 15 sec all day and night long so me and my wife could not sleep at all whole night !. When during check out I complained about this all I heard was standard saying: sorry to hear this I will send maintenance to check this out.O really I payed 100 bucks to have good sleep not to lay down in comfortable bed and hear that noise all night long !!! How about a refund because I am pretty sure that that noise is not something that happen just before I came and Personnel knows about this for long time but for some reason did not bother to fix it.So here is my free advise to you :
get competent maintenance to locate heating pipe inside the wall that causing that noise and get stud detector and find the spot where pipe is going thru the stud, cut out some dry wall get the chisel and make the hole in the stud bigger so the pipe does not touching the stud and Bingo!! next patch the hole get it sanded and painted next day so people can sleep in room 108 and probably room 109 next to it.
Another advise is when people pay money for something ( having good sleep ) and you do not deliver this Please be honest and resolve the matter so customer will not feel like being screwed up.
Thank you for those who were patient and read my review till the end.
Andrew L.
