Lovely hotel! I stayed there with my sisters for a girl's weekend in Banff. We chose this hotel for the price (got a deal on expedia) and the continental breakfast provided.

There is heated underground parking (one stall per room, but since the hotel was not busy they let us park both our vehicles). We had a 2 queen standard room on the main floor (Rm 112), at the back corner. Never bothered by any noise from the street or other hotel guests, but our stay was during the how season and the hotel was not at all busy. The rooms seemed newly decorated and clean. The bathroom was clean too, but older-looking.

The continental breakfast was just what we were looking for - coffee, tea, juices, bagels, toast, english muffins, cereal, fruit and muffins. The hotel's hot tub was also nice - way too hot in my opinion (104ºF) for an indoor hot tub, but it was not busy and nice to relax in for a while anyways. There was also a dry sauna and a steam room. The hotel is located a distance down the main street in Banff from the shops and restaurants, but's it's only a 5 minute walk.

The only bad thing about this hotel was the shower. The shower in the room we had was not good - low water pressure (when you pulled up the lever on the tap to switch to the shower head, it didn't go all the way - half the water started coming out of the shower head, and half just continued running out of the tap) and extremely variable temperatures. Maybe it was just our particular room, but that was definitely something that we did not enjoy.

Despite the shower, I would stay here again for sure, as long as the price was right!

Nice Clean hotel. Air Canada lost our luggage and the Hotel receptionist (from Poland) was extremely helpful and nice in relation to helping us with this. Hotel location is a good 15 minute walk from the centre of the town. The room had little or no view but was comfortable and big. The restaurant was average. We were there for 2 nights. The first night i had not tipped as i put the bill on my credit card and was going to tip the second night, this bill did not have a service charge The second night i paid by cash and tipped the waiter and then realised he had added a gratuity charge so beware. Free continental breakfast was very adequate.

if you have the opportunity to travel to the mountain parks towns of banff or jasper, first consider your self lucky!! Both locations are breathtaking, i am lucky enough to live within driving distance from both and enjoy the visit every time i go which is often.!
recently i stayed for the weekend at the banff inn i stay here
EVERY time i go to banff!! it is the perfect location to the town site mabye a 10 minute walk down banff ave to get to the shops, restaurants and other activities. The hotel itself if spotlessly clean has all the amentities you need to make yourself feel at home, Continental breakfast is served in carlitos in the a.m and is like sitting in your own kitchen with your family to prepare for your day. Carlitos also has a full menu during the day and prepares fantastic food, many times you will see the owner carlos in the kitchen cooking up a storm with his staff whom have all become his good friends. I have stayed in many places in the town of banff in the past and now only stay in one location the banff inn. If you go, introduce your self to the brother team of carlos and dan and you will see why it feels like home here who knows you may make some new friends i know i have!!! When staying in jasper try the sister hotel the jasper inn. Enjoy your time in the mountains!! say hi to carlos and dan for me!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay in your inn. Great location, helpful friendly staff. Clean rooms with the most comfortable beds. Also a very nice lounge with great food! The room rate reasonable, we will be repeat customers.

I've stayed here twice now this year and both times was thoroughly impressed. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the hotel staff were courteous and the overall value was excellent. The hotel is on the main street a short walk from the center of town, but far enough to avoid much of the traffic and noise. I'd gladly recommend this to any visitor to Banff.
