My boyfriend and I stayed here this past weekend in the swiss building. We paid 110 per night. I am not sure what the other rooms look like on the main hotel but our room was NOT clean. There was dirt, garbage, FOOD, behind the bedframe and the dresser. The bathroom door looked like it had not been cleaned for awhile.
The walls are thin, the room is small and outdated. The bed had some sort of rubber underneath the blanket and the pillows were uncomfortable. The bed sheets were clean as was most of the room but you could obviously see the dirt. This reminded me of an old motel room.
The staff are amazing though! Really helpful, good food, close to the town..we ended up having a great time dispite the kinda crapy room!

Picked up camper van and did tour up to Lake Louise. On way back to Calgary needed to get proper shower and relax so picked up this place on Internet as we were traveling. Outside pool at the top of hotel.
Hotel itself has seen better days both internally and externally, shame it's not had money input because reasonable distance out of Banff itself.
Over paid for quality. Great potential if Banff could get on it's feet again.

Room tip: High up and front facing towards mountains

This place has a massive hot tub setup on the roof overlooking a excellent view of the mountains. It's really good for unwinding after a long day of becoming literal jello on the mountain. Rooms are always decent. There's good ones and bad ones and the staff are really strict. I guess some people ruined the beers in the hitting idea lol

You will need a GPS to find your room and then a cellphone and compass if you want ice! However, once you find your room it is large and clean with a comfortable bed and spectacular views from the oversize balcony. We found this hotel to be quaint in a rustic, hunting lodge style but we were disappointed that the rooftop hot tub was out of order. They offered the use of the hot tubs at their sister hotels but we declined. We enjoyed the gift shop in the lobby and took pictures with the gigantic bear. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and overall it was an enjoyable stay.
