the lobby is beautiful so are the pics on line but when you show up in person the rooms are a far cry from what they are advertising.
they also claim they give ama discount in fact its advertised and stated even with ama . but when we inquired when booking they said they couldn't do it that weekend ???

wasent overly happy the place needs major upgrades and the rooms are way over priced we wont be staying here ever again shannon

Room Tip: go to another place or ask to see the room before you pay !

Front desk needs to learn that good customer service doesn't start with telling guests "check in is at 4". Yes we arrived at 2 :20 and at 4:30 room still wasn't ready so they gave us a different one. Check out wasn't any better when key stopped working at 10:30 and check out is 11. Not sure why room wasn't ready as not a great job with overall cleaning of unit we did get. Better choices to be found in Banff.

As a budget place this was great! We stayed with friends in a kitchenette suite which was ideal as we had separate rooms with a jack and Jill style bathroom & kitchen. Very clean, we'll stocked and lots of freebies. Pool was good hot tub amazing. Fantastic for parking and walking into Banff in the evening

We stayed here last week and absolutely loved this hotel! Very reasonably price. The room was spacious, had real draperies, and wonderful bedding. The bathroom had a jaccuzzi and a separate glass shower. The room was extremely clean, had air conditioning, and I will highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Banff. The staff was so helpful to give us information about the area.

We had a reservation for a Deluxe King, and when we arrived we found that there were none available, despite the reservation. Heard the same complaint from another guest! Were then given a "kitchenette suite" with queen beds, strange layout, two entry doors - all very odd. We finally ended up with a "Deluxe Queen" that was so small you could hardly move around in it. We had to put our suitcase across from the entry door, and move it when you opened the door! The bathroom was so small that you had to close the door to stand in from of the mirror comfortably. No place to put your toiletries - their amenities were kept on the windowsill! The hot tub was closed, and the covered parking was completely dark. Fortunately, we were able to get out of our second night's reservation - since they didn't have a king size available that night either. I guess it depends on your expectations. This facility really did not meet ours.

Room Tip: Did not see any rooms I would recommend.

We stayed for four nights in one of the kitchenette suites with a slightly odd layout, kitchen and bathroom (no bath) inbetween two bedrooms. Both bedrooms with external doors and the bathroom sink in the kitchen area which was not good for privacy. Despite this the kitchen was well equipped and we were able to cater for ourselves. The breakfast was not particulary good, very basic, we didn't bother with it after the first morning, we made our own in the kitchen facilities. The beds were very comfortable and the suite was clean. The walls are quite thin so we heard quite a bit of noise from our neighbours. I would not recommend the pool and the hot tub,the chemicals were overpowering. The whole families skin reacted quite badly to it and our costumes were bleached after a couple of visits. The location is about a 15 minute walk from the centre.

We stayed in a family room with kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious. The kids really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We enjoyed that we were close enough to walk to everything that Banff had to offer. The room included breakfast which was the only negative. The kids liked Eggos but the remainder of the breakfast was lacking any passion. I could not imagine eating another day there, which is notable as I am very frugal.
