“Great Stop!”
Reviewed August 11, 2014

On Bear St., a little quieter area, one street behind the Main St., excellent choice for lunch! A special is a sandwhich, soup and cookie, a just a sandwhich! Great selection in the show case! We had a grilled cheese, onion preserve, arugula, side soup, and great cookies from oatmeal to Mexican chocolate! Great coffee selections! Pay, take your print out and wait! Good service, clean, nice staff! Outside and inside areas! Busy but well organized! Health options! Lots of treats, lovely looking salads! For all ages it seemed!

“Didn't quite live up to the hype...”
Reviewed August 10, 2014 via mobile

There wasn't necessarily anything wrong with this little bakery, it just didn't wow me like I expected having read other reviews on Tripadvisor.

The jam for the toast was quite sour and the sandwich my partner had was just okay.

Also as a side note, this bakery does not allow you to custom make your sandwiches which may be a problem for some.

I’m sorry to hear we didn’t live up to your expectations Ian. The jam we serve is house made with lemon in it. Sorry if you found it a bit tart. It’s a shame to hear you thought the sandwich was just ok. We work hard to put out creative & tasty sandwich combinations. I’ll let the kitchen know your feedback so we can work on improve.

“Really nice lunch and decent internet”
Reviewed August 10, 2014

Don't be put off by the long line. There is a reason for it. The food is good and the toasted cheese was especially interesting and good. Soup was also good as were the muffins on another visit. Highly recommend.

“Must-Eat place in Banff”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

We enjoyed the fresh baked goods in this place and highly recommend it. The place gets crowded and they run out some of the items, so get there early if you can.
