I usually have breakfast and/or lunch at the Wild Flour. A bowl of their granola with yogurt and fruit compote will set you up for a full morning of walking. Their unique wraps and paninis are excellent as well.

Wild Flour Artisan Bakery is a first stop for me when I get to Banff. Their healthy granola with organic yoghurt is delicious and there is some gluten free options (live seed granola and a seed bar). The seed bar is delicious. They also make salads and soups and sandwiches for lunches and have lovely baked treats. As I am gluten sensitive, I haven't tried the treats, but the soups and salads are fresh and delicious.

We went here on the suggestion of several friends and it was quite crowded. The barista was not fast (there is a sign warning that despite the slow service the food is worth it) and seemed more interested in chatting with a friend than making our drinks. The drinks were fine but nothing special. We got two slices of cake and they were good but again, nothing special. I'd go back to try the fresh bread which looked good but don't bother with the desserts.

Sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy your visit with us. We are updating and changing our menu very soon. I urge you to give us another try when we have the new menu in place. I would also like to apologize that you didn’t receive faster service. We are busy and quality drinks do take time. However we are constantly training staff to ensure bakery-goers get great coffees & sandwiches in a timely fashion. I hope your next visit will be more speedy. Thanks for your feedback! We hope you will try us again!

A great assortment of soups, sandwiches and pastries make this a must stop for breakfast or lunch, whether eating here or taking away. Consider the lunch special for about $9 - soup, sandwich and cookie (get the anise cookie if available) Watch loaves of bread come out of the ovens next door and learn of this site's history. One block over from the heart of Banff's downtown center, it boasts a youthful and healthful vibe. Reasonable prices. If we were to stay in Banff longer, we'd definitely find our way back.
