Called in at the beginning of our holiday and visited several more times during our stay. Coffee was excellent (we ordered cappucino, but very much more like a 'flat white' - good and on the strong side) Interesting choice of soups, some more 'interesting' than others!. Potato salad was nothing to write home about, paninis were good. Unusual choice of cakes. 'Help yourself' chilled water and glasses always available. Clever artwork displays.

We stopped for a quick breakfast one morning before skiing. The food was ok for the price. A little dissapointed that they offered ketchup and then you had to pay for it. Really...I think this is the first time I have ever paid for ketchup. My family asked that we don't go back.

Wild Flour serves tasty and healthy breakfast eats, sandwiches, grain-based salads, soups, pastries (including some gluten-free options) and coffees & teas in a modern-ish spot in the cool Bison Courtyard complex on Bear St. It's popular with locals and visitors, and therefore can be pretty crowded around lunch time. They often sell out of a few lunch items fairly quickly, so think about an early lunch if you're there on a weekend or during busy summer season.

The Fratello coffee is usually really good, and staff are generally friendly but sometimes seem a bit frazzled when it's busy. It's not a quiet spot, but nice in the AM and they have rotating art and photo exhibits on display. In summer the outdoor tables are a nice spot to hang out on a warm day.

The baked goods were absolutely wonderful. We went there 2 days and I could have gone even more. We had the specialty teas ands they were great as well. Try the Earl Gray Lavender tea and the chocolate zucchini loaf.
