We stayed here because Two Jacks campground was full.
This campground was cheap, shower was clean and provided hot water. However husband said just barely lukewarm in men’s shower. Bathrooms were clean.
You camp on a road so not great but met some very nice people.
It’s beautiful scenery unfortunately when we were there it was smokey from the wildfires so couldn’t see much . Not far to downtown so a quick drive or take the free shuttle bus.
I would stay again.

On our way home in September we again tried to get into Two Jacks again but was full so they sent us to Village 1 was the only campground that was not full.... so we drove there only to find out that Village 1 has no electricity hook up. Please tell people that before you send them there!!! It was cold and we are in a tent trailer ... just something to be aware of.

Stayed here for 6 days to see all that Banff had to offer. Strange parking system at your site. Just had to fit yourself in amongst the other RVs closest to your site. Parallel parking. Came back from town one day to find our truck parking spot taken by another RV. Thankfully they moved back when we had to leave, otherwise we could not hook up to our 5th wheel. Saw numerous Elk running through the park at dawn and dusk. Easy trip into town on the bus, which we caught just outside the park. Town is very close and very busy. Would stay here again if we were in the area.

If you come here, and read the rules, you will have a good experience. The views are amazing and little wildlife experiences add to the ambiance.

Parks Canada, is trying to make this a good experience for all, but clearly common sense needs to be taught to many of the patrons.

Services are good , power, water and sewer. Showers and bathroom facilities are typical institutional.

The big downfall are those that just don’t read, or the language or consider others.

Its not rocket science. Put your food away, remove all garbage from your site, keep yourselves and kids and pets out of others spots.

Having to chase an elderly women who was letting her pet pee and crap beside our picnic table (twice I may add) is just plain ignorant. (I asked her where her spot was so I could relieve myself the same way she was letting her dog doo.)

And , I may add... wildlife will injure and kill you. These are not Disney creatures. Elk had just begun rutting season, so getting within 10 feet with your infant child for the perfect selphi is just plain Stupid. If you are not intelligent enough to respect these creatures,,, stay at home in
the big city and help save these innocent creatures the risk of being put down because they inadvertently injured you while you invaded their home.

Check in very smooth and staff very helpful and friendly. Toilets very clean. Shower facilities limited. Close to Banff town centre with regular bus, free there and$2 charge for return but very walkable.

The campground is in a beautiful location, however the ground itself is underwhelming as there are few facilities and the way that the individual sites are arranged is along roads which don't lead to a good feel to the site. Showers were often cold or lukewarm and were very basic. One of the few good things was the bus into Banff which was very helpful and good value.
