“Great food in a lovely setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

This restaurant is inside the Juniper Hotel, which is away from the main drag but is situated overlooking Mount Norquay. The floor-to-ceiling windows, and adjacent patio provided a lovely setting for our meal. The previous reviews said that this restaurant features seasonal flavors and elk/bear/other non-chicken meat :) That was not the case when we visited, however everything we ate was delicious, if not very inventive. The view really wowed us, though. We watched the sun set over the mountain, and wished we were staying here...

“Overall Amazing Dining Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

The location, off the beaten path, is what gives way to the terrific views.
The atmosphere, warm and welcoming, comfortable, relaxing, romantic.
The Service was attentive, friendly, personable, thank you so much Isabelle!
The Food, lovely in presentation, three courses, each different, truly a tasting treat.

Highly recommend the food, everything we ordered was wonderful. The Sweet Mousse tray of four was a Sweet surprise. We went early and stayed until sunset. The views amazed as you can see the mountains and the Banff Springs Hotel off in the distance. Lots to linger over.

“Amazing Taste Bud Delights”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013 via mobile

Absolutely Wonderful! Our server, Dave, was helpful and passed by several times, simply to be available if we needed anything. The views, decor and lighting were spot on, for an enjoyable dinning experience. The meal was the best of our 2 week trip to the area. The Juniper House salad was amazing. The pasta was prepared to perfection, "al dente", to which I give Mark the credit. Even the prices were appealing. The bar has a cozy wood fireplace and comfy looking couches to relax in. Even though we are staying one more night in Banff at another hotel, we will be returning to dine here. If your looking for a quiet meal for 2 or a group dinner, you would be hard pressed to find better. This is a place I will recommend to all my friends.

“Banff's secret”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

The food at the Juniper is so good, I want to drive from Canmore to eat dinner there! Wonderful, current dishes with interesting and delicious flvours, from the chicken salad wraps done with a lemon aioli to the tender salmon filets, to the fresh sorbets and desserts. And of course the spectacular Bow Valley mountain view comes with every meal.
