Both my friend and I cannot have gluten and Nourish has amazing dishes that are gluten free. Service is great, a little slow, but absolutely worth it!

As a vegetarian living in meat-loving Alberta I appreciate any restaurant that creatively caters for veggies and so I was really looking forward to my first visit to Nourish. I was expecting to LOVE it, based on reviews and the yummy photos on their website. Unfortunately, the reality was disappointing. The tea is delicious and the food is definitely fresh, creative and beautifully presented, but the dishes we ordered had too many different textures & flavours piled together, so that you can't really appreciate any of them individually. The hard to find location, upstairs at the back of a brightly lit shopping arcade, and the modern and clean look of their website also jars with their dark and dusty makeshift decor. This wouldn't have put me off, but sadly their service was just way too slow for me to ever want to visit again. Shame, but lunch shouldn't take 2 1/2hrs when there are only 6 customers to deal with.

First of all this is a vegetarian restaurant and I'm not a vegetarian. I eat out quite a bit and spend much of my time travelling across 5 continents. This is without a doubt my favourite place to go and eat. My girlfriend and I visited Banff on Valentine's day the previous year (she's vegetarian) and we loved it so much that we returned all the way to Banff a year later just to visit this restaurant. Two evening visits in two nights turned into three visits in under two days. We had different courses each time and couldn't find faults on anything. Adventurous, sumptuous and usually enough left over to have later that night back at home.

Well, ate there twice in 2 days since it was that good. Not much else to say, it's all been said. Staff is wicked. The food admittedly came a bit slow both times, but with patience will come quality. Best vegetarian resto I've ever eaten at. Food porn. You owe it to yourself, if you're a foodie, to visit this place. The plates come out one at a time, so everyone can share each plate before the next arrives. Great idea cuz you'll want to try everything. Burrito might have been my fave. If you visit the website everything you see looks exactly like that. Just beautiful! And really not overpriced in my opinion. Many of the dishes have half or full option. Serving sizes are good so get n-1 dishes where n is the number of people you are with.

My husband and I found this place on trip advisor and decided to check it out after having such a disappointing experience at Ticino. This place will change your view on vegetarian food! My husband is a carnivore but could not stop complimenting the food after every few bites. And he asked to come back for lunch a couple days later! It's a tiny little restaurant on the 2nd floor of Sundance mall, on Banff Ave. You would have to look for it. The waiters are friendly but nonintrusive. The dishes come in very large portion. A half order will be more than enough to share between 2 people. My husband and I had (in 2 visits) the Golden Beets soup, the Gazpacho, the Kingkong noodles, the mushroom ravioli, the falafel and the wild berry pie. Every bite was delicious!
