Located in main town Baanff. The place is nice with a friendly staff. Restaurants, shopping, coffee shops all are at walking distance.

We travelled during November. Room heaters were great, warm water in the bathroom was always available.

We stayed at the ground level as v were going to be out most times. But go for a room on a higher level, which gives a nice view of the inside of the resort if u going to spend time indoors.

All in all good stay.

This was our first time staying at the Moose and it has won us over. Located on Banff ave it's a short walk to check out all the shops or head out for something to eat.
Our room felt like a modern cabin with a great balcony view.
The rooftop hot pools are a must and absolutely gorgeous to soak while star gazing.
We will be back for sure!

We booked a bit late and most of the other hotels we would have normally booked seemed to all be reserved. Admittedly the price was a bit high for our budget but we had a few 'must haves' and the Moose Hotel fit the bill nicely. Primarily we wanted to stay in Banff and be able to walk through the town without much hassle. Secondly we were looking for a room w/ a king bed which I think was difficult to find because of our procrastination in booking the room. So if those are on your list look no further! The hotel itself is beautiful. I couldn't tell if it had been recently renovated or was a new construction but it was very clean, spacious and kept in very good condition. The staff were helpful and always very pleasant. The rooms were well decorated, clean and our room had a fireplace that made for some relaxing evenings. The in-hotel restaurant was just okay. Convenient, but not something I would seek out. Food was meh. There are far more unique food experiences within walking distance. But don't let that take away from how great the hotel itself is. This has been my third stay in Banff and my third different hotel. By far my absolute favourite and we will look to book here again if we can make it work. So bottom line, you will not be disappointed with your stay.

Hotel is very new and located very conveniently with great lay out. Rooms are very clean and we enjoyed two hot tubes on roof top with amazing mountain view. Special thanks to Paccini's restaurant team for great service and unforgettable birthday party! We will definitely be back

I stayed at the Moose Hotel in late November 2016 with my wife and 12-year old daughter.

The Moose exceeded our expectations.

We were visiting Banff mostly for skiing on the local slopes but also wanted to be close to restaurants and shops. We found the location of the Moose to be ideal, just a short stroll to the center of town.

We reserved a one-bedroom suite on the second floor but inquired about upgrading to the fourth floor when we arrived. The front desk allowed us to check out the room we reserved and the next class up. Both rooms were very nice but we chose to pay a small additional fee to upgrade to the highest floor with a great view. Our room had a large bedroom with oversized bathroom, fireplace in the living/dining area and a small kitchen. The kitchen was stocked with glasses, plates and silverware. My daughter said the sleeper sofa in the living room was very comfortable.

We could tell right away that the hotel is new. The room (and everything else) was spotless and in perfect shape.

The two large spas and fireplace outside on the roof and indoor pool and fitness area included with the room were very nice after a day on the slopes. We didn’t visit the separate Meadow spa on the 3rd floor.

Parking located under the building was convenient. There is also a small laundry area near the parking area.

We were there to ski and a shuttle stop to Sunshine was right next door to the Moose.

The onsite restaurant, Pacini, was a good value with quick friendly service.

We would definitely stay at the Moose again.
