The gondola ride up Sulphur Mountain is expensive - we paid about $35 return each for the 8 minute ride, but it was well worth it for the views from the top. You can view from the main deck, go up to the observation deck, or even better follow the wooden walkway down and then up the next peak. We were plagued by flies on our visit so liberal coverage of repellent is advised. The café in the main building is poor - tables were dirty, coffee was poor quality and service was limited. Our judgement was that the Swiss do this sort of thing much better. But the views make it all worthwhile!
