“Another stop on Icefield Parkway”
Reviewed August 9, 2013

Unfortunately with global warning I guess, this crow is missing one toe?! or however you want to call it!! So it was not so easy to understand, but can be easily be spotted from the main road.

You can take a brief stop, take some pictures and go.

“Interesting stop and a (suppressed) lesson in climate change”
Reviewed August 1, 2013

My wife and I visited this glacier during a November drive on the Icefields Parkway, and it was interesting to see this again after a few trips down the Parkway in earlier years. One of the "toes" is missing (and had been on earlier trips also), now that our planet is warming, and it would have been more interesting if the signs explaining all that were still present. (I'm sure that their disappearance doesn't have anything to do with Alberta's windfall from its tar sands. Believing that would be cynical....)

“Good Place for a Rest Stop”
Reviewed May 17, 2013

This somewhat interesting and mildly scenic glacier was located on the Icefields Parkway about 32 km northwest of Lake Louise. Several small turnouts permitted stops for viewing. Although the glacier was reputedly about 1.5 square kilometers, little of its surface was easily visible from alongside the highway. On the day we stopped to see it, many slow-moving, low-hanging, snow-laden clouds often obscured our views. It was a worth the time to stop, but nothing particularly spectacular when compared to the lakes we’d seen along our route.

“2 out of 3 isn't bad”
Reviewed August 30, 2012

I might not have named this glacier Crowfoot, but even with one missing toe I can easily see the namesake, and it's definitely appropriate.

“Only a roadside stop for us”
Reviewed June 29, 2012 via mobile

We stopped for a picture here, one of many on our drive. Great view. If you're driving by, worth a stop to enjoy.
