We enjoyed a fantastic week at the Brew House at the beginning of April. The location of the cottage is great as, being near the centre of the island means that you're never too far a drive from anywhere. The cottage was immaculately tidy when we arrived and there was a lovely hamper of local produce waiting for us on the kitchen table. The owners had made sure the cottage was well-stocked with all of the essentials and there was a large selection of toys for our three year old to enjoy. This was our first family holiday to the Isle of Wight but judging from this experience it will certainly not be our last. We look forward to revisiting the Brew House in the very near future. The Pointer Inn in Newchurch and the Garlic Farm come highly recommended from us for their excellent food.

“Wonderful Isle of Wight Cottage”
Reviewed March 5, 2016 for a stay in February 2016

We booked the Brew House for our first trip to the Isle of Wight and it definitely met all of our needs for the weekend. The Brew House itself is a lovely, clean and well-stocked cottage and we had such a comfortable stay. Ali and David were fantastic and thoughtful hosts and were very helpful in our preparations for the weekend. We were warmly greeted by them when we arrived late on the Friday night and took up their offer to use their selection of bikes on the Saturday to ride the local trail. We also greatly enjoyed the scrumptious selection of goodies provided upon arrival. The central location of the Brew House made for easy exploring of the island and we loved the quiet area of Knighton. A dinner at the Pointer Inn is a must - be sure to order the pavlova for dessert. Thanks again Ali and David for making us feel so welcome!

It was a pleasure to welcome you both and we are so glad that you enjoyed the Brew House and that you were able to make the very most of your time on the Island, biking and walking in the glorious early spring weather we had. Come again soon!

“A home away from home - complete with friendly helpful host neighbours!”
Reviewed November 16, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

The cosy cottage is joined to the main farmhouse and Ali and David are welcoming hosts but also quiet/discreet neighbours. The cottage is clean and well furnished/equipped - with lots of lovely touches, including pretty vases of garden flowers in every room. The weather was chilly and damp , but it didn't matter because the log burner burned bright and heating was toasty. On a sunny day it was just warm enough to sit in the sheltered private courtyard and enjoy the homemade cake and jams from the welcome hamper. We were too lazy to use the bikes that were available - and drove to The Pointer Inn, for fabulous pub food 5 mins away ! A super place to stay. Many thanks.

“Fantastic little spot of tranquility!”
Reviewed June 12, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Have just returned today from a week at The Brew House. A beautiful, tranquil farmhouse in a lovely part of the island. The owners have thought of everything you will need to make it feel like 'home from home'. We travelled with our 11 month old daughter and felt completely at ease, had everything needed provided from stair gates, highchair and even a teddynd for her to cuddle at night!! With a welcomslae hamper on arrival to indulge in we were able to settle in straight away. Ideal place to stay for getting around the island. Thank you for a lovely relaxing week - we will be returning asap!!
