Wife and I drove out there at dusk hoping to see some wildlife. Nice views. Saw some deer, a beaver, and some birds. Gravel roads and a little bumpy. Nice drive to get out of town a bit.

Went here for early morning drive and stopped to have breakfast. Very peaceful and quiet- no one else around! Wouldn't go out of my way, but good spot if you're looking to experience the great outdoors of the rockies in silence.

Private, rustic camp spots with no amenities. (except porta potties) Hard to get the site you want but wonderful when you do. The drive up is one of our favorites. Better to take a truck. We will be back real soon to camp and fish. The owner/manager is a lovely and friendly lady.

This is a definitely must do in your trip. You get a great view of the town from up in the mountains. We went at 8:30pm but didn't see any wildlife. It's a beautiful drive and there are some lakes. We went as far as spray lake (which was quite dry this time of year).

Got a tip off bears were on the spray lake road. We managed to see our 1st Grizzly! It was nearing sunset so we turned back after an hour. You need at least 3 hours to complete. The road is gravel so speed is very restricted .
