“It is a really great Hotel”
Reviewed December 11, 2013

I really enjoyed this hotel because: Rooms are really clean, Staff is polite and efficient, moreover breakfast is good. I spent 5 days in that hotel and everything was fine. I happy about it.

Hotel is located about 10 km from Paris city center so it will take more about 1 hour for getting to the Paris city center. Just take bus 179 till ROBINSON and than take the RER B till Paris city center.

Just a little advice: the sinks in the toilette are not really user friendly :) so i would change them.

To sum up: if you are planing to stay in Robinson i reccomend you this hotel, it is a really good hotel

Not a Grand Hotel in the usual sense, but certainly very good for a 3 star place. Traditional, but fully renovated and nice building. Very comfortable lobby with a small bar. Had a suite for four nights which was very pleasant: Large sitting room with TV (pixellized HD channels though), comfortable bedroom with another TV, bathroom with bath, shower and plenty of towels as well as a big window, many cubboards, wardrobes. Very good price for this accommodation. Wifi free, but reception in our corner of the hotel left to be desired. Excellent restaurant (L'Horloge) with a good menu choice and daily specials. Very friendly, competent and helpful staff both at the hotel and restaurant. There is also a fitness room which I did not visit. Both, hotel and restaurant, are the best in Le Plessis-Robinson.

Very nice Hotel.....very good location, in the center of Le Plessis Robinson......you can get the bus from in front the hotel...just cross the street and sometimes you don't need to. 2mins away from Plessis down town and 5 mins walk from Le Marché......20mins in bus and y'll be either in the metro station or RER....to get to Paris which needs approx 45mins......very good service and cleanliness...i got a studio in the adjacent bldg to the Hotel with its own private entrance for 70Euros excluding breakfast cz next to the hotel there's plenty of cafés......so usually i took only my coffee in the studio....Calm area.....easy for business travelers and in the Center of everything with very affordable prices.....nice and new rooms !

Room Tip: you can book for a studio (large room with nice view, small kitchen and big bathroom) at 70 Euros/nig...

I stay here a lot, decent size rooms, very clean, nice showers, comfortable beds, pillows and quilts. I have on occasions eaten in the restaurant, food is quite good but staff always have the attitude 'I'm doing you a favour by serving you'. However on this occasion their surliness moved to 'I can't be bothered to serve you'. I sat in the bar and waited and waited, at least 10 minutes. Gave up even though the barman must had seen me and decided to go to the restaurant and have a drink there prior to eating. I was given a table and a menu. Ten minutes and no service, another 5 nothing, I spoke to the waiter as he walked past, he was excellent at ignoring me, didn't even glance my way. Another 5 minutes nothing, only 3 tables occupied so not busy. Both waiters absent so gave up. As I passed reception on the way to eat elsewhere he was leaning on the reception desk chatting to the receptionist. Abysmal attitude and service, totally rude and uncaring perhaps due to the no longer mandatory to leave tips. I will stay here due to it's convenience but NEVER eat in the restaurant again.

First of all, I really appreciate the fact you're taking some of your time to share your expérience, because your comments really matters. Although I am surprised this could happen in my own hotel, the fact you're pointed it out is going to be very helpful to improve our service. I'll do all I can to make sure this kind of situation wouldn't occur again, and I am sorry for your disappointment on that day.
Sincerely

I am staying here for 16 days for some business trip.
The hotel's room is itself is pretty simple and standard but it is always cleaned.
There it nothing really fancy about it. The room itself is quite big with living room and small kitchen inside.
The breakfast is standard and to be honest there is not much variation there, after 16 days you really feel you cannot handle it anymore :).
Some of staffs are very friendly (especially for the lady) and some of them are not (especially the man in evening shift, obviously it is not pleasant at all).
This is kind of hotel that you only use for business purposes, not for leisure.
The surrounding environment is quite cozy though.
I am enjoying walking around the hotel where it is very quite and green in the same time.
Transportation bus is quite easy to reach from hotel, so it can connect you easily to Paris if you take RER or Metro.

In the end, it is OK for business, but not for leisure at all.

Nice, clean, spacious comfortable room but hoel is let down badly by terrible attitude and general ineptitude of staff. All were ignorant and completely unhelpful apart from the lady on reception on an evening who was exceedingly helpful.

I stayed here for two nights while on business in Clamart. The hotel is just what its name suggests--grand--and the rooms are a good size, well laid out, with good TV selections and the must-have WiFi (included in the price for my company rate). The only down side was that, being August, there were not many residents in the hotel, and the hotel restaurant, L'Horloge (spelling?), had shut down for the month. Still, just a few steps down the hill are a few restaurants to satisfy my hunger. My corporate rate was 120 Euros a night, including breakfast, which I thought was pretty good considering the standard of the hotel (which is rated at 3 three stars, by the way). I will be back in these parts again next year, and will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: The front-facing rooms have a good view across the park.
