“Perfect afternoon tea”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

Recently visited for my mum's 82nd birthday, pre-booked for afternoon tea. A lovely treat, could have been at the "Ritz". Miniature cakes and delicate sandwiches all delicious, a good variety to suit all tastes. A range of speciality teas to choose from served in china cups makes a welcome change from the norm. Children's corner to keep the little one's happy. Relaxed atmosphere and excellent service for any occasion or a indeed a special occasion. Thanks for a lovey time.

“Fantastic cakes”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

There is always a good selection of cakes and buns. Tea is proper tea served in a teapot with a selection of loose leaf teas. This is a great place to take younger children as there is a good selection of toys, books and games to keep them occupied, they even have bouncy castles outside on a Monday in the 6 weeks hols.

“Lovely coffee & cakes”

A fab place to meet friends and family, or to just take five. Great kids area with toys and books. A delicious selection of tasty panini's and the most amazing home made cakes

“cool cafe!”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

Never knew this place existed as mainly visit cafes in Sheffield - however I shall most definitely revisit The Snug! The food was lovely, and prices are similar to most other cafes...but The Snug scores very highly on service. They responded helpfully to varying requests from a party whose ages ranged from 1 to 75 and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. A pot of tea was served in a beautiful flowered teapot which delighted the 75 year old and the cakes were excellent. There are toys for the children and the entire place is very pretty and immaculately clean. And there is air conditioning which, on a very very hot day like today, was wonderful!

“Lovely and child friendly”
Reviewed July 3, 2013 via mobile

Lovely little coffee shop that is great for those with young children and buggys. Most other coffee shops in the area don't have space to take a buggy in or anything to entertain the kids while you have a coffee, this one does. Beautifully decorated and clean and this extends to the toilet and baby changing facilities.
