I guess we've been here for half a dozen meals or more since the restaurant opened, plus innumerable take-aways. The food is good - some nice unusual dishes (chicken akbari sizzler and fish sylheti chingri very good) as well as all the usual favourites. Dronfield isn't short of Indian restaurants, so it's nice to find somewhere taking a more original view on their menu. The wine list isn't bad, but not great either - prices are fine, but nothing that interesting on there. The only real downside we've had is that the service, whilst always friendly, can be slow - not usually a problem as we get a chance to chat with friends, but can be frustrating when you're hungry. The atmosphere is good - nice layout in a modern setting. The only other improvement I would suggest to them is that the bar area is badly underutilised - it's a really nice area that could easily suit pre-dinner drinks (especially as the nearest pub is 10 minutes walk away) but it's never opened up to encourage you to come early and enjoy it.
