“Perfect family getaway”
Reviewed May 13, 2018 for a stay in May 2018

The location is amazing. Kevin was very helpful and was always available for questions. The house was lovely and perfect for our family. Kevin had got us a bottle of wine as well which was very thoughtful. Lots of walks around the house. The house was a big part of why our trip was so memorable.

“Perfect Location for walking in the peaks”
Reviewed April 23, 2018 for a stay in April 2018

Stayed here with a group of friends for a walking weekend in the area. Cottage is lovely and brilliantly equipped. Especially enjoyed relaxing in the evening after a days walking with a cosy fire going on the log burner, would definitely say again.

We stayed over a very snowy weekend the cottage was lovely and cosy. Our family of 2 adults and 3 children were very comfortable, plenty of room. We used the kitchen a lot and found it was very well equipped. Thank you to Kevin for making our stay so lovely.

“Well appointed, cosy cottage with everything we needed.”
Reviewed March 13, 2018 for a stay in March 2018

In the southern Peak District surrounded by beautiful countryside with the option of endless walks. Book ahead to eat at the George Pub in Alstonefield. We enjoyed snowdrops, snow, sun and rain and very long walks (guides provided in the house) with stunning views and lots of mud, presumably added to by the melting snow. Lovely to come home to a cosy house. Fabulous way to spend long weekend.
