The hotel is really old with poor maintenance. The toilet is dirty with yellowish water around the toilet bowl. We even found yellow stain on the towels and pillows. Anyway, their staff is friendly and helpful.

Date of stay:
18 to 20 September 2013 (two nights) at Room 123.

Positives:
1. Strong water pressure in bathroom and have nice hot water.
2. Room size is big as it is old hotel
3. Free parking, ample space and easy parking set up
4. Service was fast; i ordered room service for 'wild mushroom soup'. It came fast, within 10
minutes. The soup had a good taste but the portion was a bit small (about 300 cc only) and
it came with a small piece of bread. Price was RM 9.30 (RM 8 + taxes). That was the only
service i used.
5. Complimentary newspaper (the New Straight Times) in the morning
6. Complimentary drinking water of two one liter bottles a day.
7. Despite the unsatisfactory room condition, the room did not smell of tobacco, thank God!
8. I had two nights of very good sleep there. I was not there during the whole of two days day
time; I came after dark and left before sunrise.

Negatives:
Inside bath room
1. Handle bar at bath tub came off by itself, so could not be used.
2. Floor bath towel was very dirty, looked like it has not been changed a long time
3. No line to hang wet cloth over bath tub. Looked like it was there but had been removed.
4. White bath room interior make it look cheap as in bathroom in a low cost house
5. Shower head inside shower cubicle looked black from mould. The shower head was of low
quality; it should not be used in the hotel setting at all. I did not bath inside the shower
cubicle, so did not know how the water flowed from the shower head.
5. Water flows from both the shower head and tap of the bath tub when it was turned on. So it
was a waste of water (the hotel pasted a notice of going environmental friendly; what a joke
it was).
6. The ceiling inside the bathrooms showed three places where water was leaking. It was
repainted in white but obviously the leaking problem was not addressed.

Housekeeping
1. The room was not cleaned during my two days stay there. Only the bed was made; even
then, it was done after lunch time.
2. The carpeted floor was not vacuum-clean.
3. The cup from the previous night's room service meal was not taken out by the staff.
4. Used cup was not cleaned and put back in its place after use.
5. Table was not wiped clean; you can see food crumbles on the table.
6. Corridor outside rooms looked dirty; it looked so obvious that it has not been cleaned for
quite some time.

In room facility:
1. Kettle - Malaysian made Khind brand. Be careful when you use it. After boiling water,
handle it with care. Don't use your bare hands to lift up as it can burn your hand. The
handle felt very very hot and dangerous!
2. The room looks old and tired and the lighting is poor.
3. TV is still the old model

Staffs
1. The uniform of some of their staffs is white shirt and black pants. The uniform was so simple.
In fact some of the male staffs, i noticed, looked like medical assistant in government
hospital.
2. In two occasions when i entered the hotel lobby, two different things happened. At one time
the staff saw me and opened the door for me but at other time they saw me but ignored me.
Inconsistent service.

Meals at hotel
1. I did not eat here but my husband said the dinner served on 18 September 2013 was not
nice. Strangely, instead of serving chicken, duck was given as one of the menu. On the
second night (19 September 2013), we had our dinner outside hotel.
2. Breakfast was also not nice he said.

Hotel location
1. It is about 40 minutes fast drive from Serdang Hospital near Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM)
2. I am not sure whether there was any public transportation servicing the hotel area.
3. The road going to this hotel from Seremban Town is winding, and very quiet. It is good to jog in this area but i am quite concerned for safety.

Room Tip: If you are not satisfied with the cleanliness of the room, ask for a better one.

Had a stop over in KL for one night and was advised to stay here from TUNE (airasia) hotel as they had no more rooms available. They referred us to the travel room next to their reception and said there was no where else we could stay. Took 30 mins to get there, first thing i noticed was the reception people had filthy uniforms which is always a bad sign and it just got worse from there!! The room was the most discusting thing i have ever been/seen in my life YUCK! Carpet was filthy, sheets were dirty, blanket frm a dumpster, toilet didnt flush, shower was dirty and the worse thing about it was they would not refund our money when we decided to leave 30 mins after we got there!! The most awful experience i have ever had in my life!!! if you are thinking about staying here DONT sleep on the street or the airport you wont regret it!!! YUCK YUCK YUCK!!!

Room they gave me was still dirty from previous guest, I checked in at 10:00 at night. Room smells of cigarette, was not given an option. Stayed there for 5 hours, slept on top of bed, did not bother to take shower as bathroom mouldy and tap rusty. Food in the restaurant not edible and expendsive. I am not fussy with food but the food served just can not be justified for the outrageous price. Felt uneasy with the location. Staff friendly.

Really far from anything else, room is dirty, loo is dirty, and shower handle came off (no hot water). Our room was on the third floor. The 'breakfast' was disgusting: an old sandwich, an apple and dry looking piece of chocolate cake. We were in transit so we chose to stay in this hotel. Never again.

Furious. All our holidays in Asia are the result of much planning and research to find the cleanest, safest accommodation. Why, Air Asia, pretend to be doing us a favour after cancelling our flight? The favour would have been advising us to go back to our KL hotel, no matter what the inconvenience - even at midnight. Instead we were driven to this Allson flea pit, taken to this shanty town in the dead of night.
You know you're in trouble when the front desk girl is wearing a filthy uniform standing in front of walls stained all over with God knows what. The room has been mentioned here already and it IS worse than any idea of hell, it defies description - stinking, mouldy, bugridden, stained grey sheets, worn, small and FILTHY. Corridors, lift, hot and stink. Sprayed ourselves and room with aerogard insect repellent, but it needed nuclear irradiation.

I watched through the window some nefarious business being conducted below, outside a karioke bar, while trying to get some air into my lungs. Disgusted, tired and angy we tried to sleep in our clothes on top of the brown stained sheets (we also have photos but won't turn your stomach with them) and worried about our things being stolen, with good reason. Of course there is no safe. Not even water or a packet of chips.
Absolute worst ever, anywhere, can't believe we were so shocked we didn't leave, even that late. If you are sitting in the airport reading this because Air Asia has promised you accommodation due to their cock up, tell them to take you to the dog pound instead. That would be more humane-cleaner and safer.

Footnote: Airline staff DO NOT ELECT TO STAY HERE, never believe it. This Allson is the one next to Mc Donald's but even if there is confusion, the other Allson appears to be just as bad. Disgraceful Allson, worse any AIRLINE with the cheek to send anyone here, hang your heads.
