1 review This condo is immaculate and had everything we needed. The bedrooms are big with plenty of closet space. The kitchen is fully loaded and the staff is extremely nice. The pool is huge and private and the amenities at the Grand Mayan are incredible, you don't need to go anywhere else. There is a shopping plaza with a grocery store and a Starbucks 5 min. away. Security is great so we were safe and happy the whole time. I highly recommend it.

Summary:
This is a fantastic place for a vacation. There are too many activities available to list them all, or you can do nothing at all and have a very relaxing time.
The Condo:
Very spacious and has everything you need on vacation. No problems at all. This is our second year staying in this condo and the owner makes sure everything is ready. TV's and wireless internet work great. The kitchen is fully equipped.
Grand Mayan Property
Seibal is located within The Grand Mayan property, and the condo comes with a Grand Mayan membership. NOT ALL RENTAL UNITS IN SEIBAL HAVE A MEMBERSHIP. This gives you access to the golf course (free greens fees but you pay a cart fee), fitness center, beach, Mayan pool area, lazy river and access to restaurants on the property. You also get charging privileges.
The Building, Staff & Pool:
The Seibal building is very well maintained and secure. Staff is on duty 24 hours, and they are all friendly and helpful. The manager, Iriana, is delightful and will help you with any question or problem you have. The pool is really something. Always clean and maintained every day and never a problem finding a lounge chair or table. The pool is huge! If you need a taxi the staff will have one for you within a couple of minutes.
Off-property Restaurants:
There are plenty of local restaurants within walking distance or a short taxi ride. My wife and I choose the local restaurants over the Mayan restaurants because the food is good and much cheaper than the Mayan restaurants.
Negatives:
The only negative here is with getting golf tee times during January and February. If you don’t play golf it’s not a problem. If you do make sure you call ahead and get your tee times as soon as you can. You can book tee times 60 days in advance. That is really the only negative I can think of and it has nothing to do with the condo.
